PARTICIPANT LEVEL

Both Privateers and Teams are supported within this event. Drivers are automatically placed into a Privateer category upon sign up if no team information is presented and will contest in an additional championship against all other Privateers. To be in a Team however, requires a minimum of two drivers and maximum of three with all drivers driving different cars but all featuring the same livery design of which the two best point scoring drivers will contribute to their teams points for that race meeting. Both Privateers and Teams are frozen when the Sign Up period has closed or when a drivers runs his first race, with the points for both Privateer and Teams Championships being based off the regular points scheme, with a permitted dropped result from your final total.

QUALIFYING

Qualifying rooms will open at 14:00 CDT / 20:00 BST / 05:00 AEST where all drivers will then receive an invite from their room host. If you do not receive an invite, please get in contact with the DFWW Team via Party Chat and he will resolve the situation. Qualifying itself will take place at 14:20 CDT / 20:20 BST / 05:20 AEST, where you will have 20 minutes to set your time, the best of which will then contribute to form the grid. Please space out on the opening lap to give each other room so you can all have clear, unimpeded certified qualifying laps. Once the 20 minutes are completed, pull over, stop and wait for the host to give direction. drivers that lag out or leave the session will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen, unless if a qualifying lap wasn't completed, upon which a new qualifying session can be started. No driver is to drive backwards around the track.

CERTIFICATION
Each driver must have a certified lap achieved on their first lap. A slow cautionary lap must be carried out by every driver, staying on the track and away from the grass, curbs and walls. If your lap becomes uncertified, you will have to sacrifice another lap to achieve this very simple task, so go slow and be careful. All uncertified times will be placed behind certified times in order of fastest to slowest.
RACE

Race rooms will open once Qualifying is completed and the times are collected and ordered. Please be patient as this process can take between 15 and 25 minutes to complete, but once finalized, all drivers will receive an invite from a selected room host. If you do not receive an invite within 30 minutes, please get in contact with the DFWW Team via Party Chat and he will resolve the situation.

Each race will begin with a standard gridded start, which means a quick 1 lap race must be completed with all competitors finishing in their starting positions so as to start the race in qualification order.

There is a mandatory pit stop for every race which must be taken at some point after the first 2 laps and before the last 2 laps. For example, a 25 lap race will have a pit window of Laps 3 to 23. Whenever a driver enters or leaves the pits, they must call this out to the rest of the room. You must also keep 2 tires within the painted white lines denoting the edge of the track, to ensure no shortcutting. When exiting the pit lane, you must stay to the side until you have got up to racing speed. Do not feed onto the racing line because this is dangerous.

RESTARTS
A restart can only occur if the following happens:
- The room has been setup incorrectly
- A driver lags out within the opening racing lap. In the event that 1 player only lags out, he will then start at the back of the grid. If more than one driver lags out simultaneously though, the grid will restart as the qualifying result intended
- Racing collision involving 4 or more cars within the opening racing lap
- Large lag related crash within the opening racing lap

LAGOUTS AND RETIREMENTS
If you do not complete the race through whatever reason, you will be classified as a retirement and your finishing position will be determined by the 75% rule, whereby if you retire before 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points overall with the lap you retired on determining your position amongst other drivers of a similar situation. However, if you retire after 75% race completion, you will receive last placed points for your room.

ROOM SPLIT
In the event of a 'Room Split' occurring after the completion of the opening lap, which is defined as 2 or more racers splitting from the main room into a seperate room that has a minimum of 2 drivers present and racing, they may continue racing to the finish in accordance to the series rules and will be classified in the final result based on their total time if they produce picture evidence of the race result screen. Failure to produce this evidence however will result in a DNF on the lap the split occurred.

CONNECTION CONFLICTIONS
If you cannot connect to your race room, you will receive last placed points for your qualifying room upon completing the Connection Confliction procedure stated below. This will be for the first 2 conflicts only, upon which you will then only receive overall last placed points.

LIVERY

All participants are required to have the mandatory graphics on their car for this series.

ADDITIONAL INFO

Once you have qualified in a car, you are now locked to that car for the series. You can change your engine build as long as you stay under 450 HP and tire width but you must keep the same rims for all 8 races for each race. If you would like. Random car inspections will occur to prevent cheating. If your car does not match the required stats, you will be excluded from the series. Out of 8 races, your best 7 results will contribute to your final series standings. This means you can miss a race and still be in contention. You are required to have a functioning microphone during the race meeting to allow for communication, and must stay in the room chat, as opposed to being in Party Chat. It is recommended you save Replays. This may help rectify disputes. If your gamertag changes at any point or if you wish to remove yourself from the series, please inform the organisational team by posting in the General Chat thread, as this is the courteous action to take.

CONFLICTION DURING A RACE MEETING
If there is a confliction within your race room, you must find out who the confliction is with. The Room Host will invite all his drivers to the room in qualification order, with the driver who cannot get in then proceeding to get in contact with the Room Host. The host will create a new room and invite this driver first and wait for him to gain access before then inviting the remaining drivers in qualification order, waiting for each driver to connect before inviting the next. The process is repeated until the confliction is found, of which the driver with the better qualifying will be permitted to race, and the excluded driver forced to withdraw but receiving points based on Connection Confliction points, unless if the driver with the better qualifying is preventing more than one driver from racing, in which case they will then be excluded instead. This process should not take longer than 5 minutes.

RACE STEWARDS

If you have any questions or queries regarding any aspect of the series, get in contact with the Series Organiser or the Series Support Team. Alternatively, Race Stewards are available and they will be able to either answer your question or point you in the right direction. Either PM them on the forum or send them a message on XBL, but do not send a friends request as this will not be accepted if we don't know you, or we don't have room. A message will be read though.
